Well, I'm 21 now, and it's great. I love it. I feel like an all out adult! Yikes, I also feel old.

Anyway, I got to see my sister and brother-in-law for the first time in who knows how long. It was great to see them. They live in South Africa, and only visit the States once a year. It's nice that they were here now, for my birthday, even if it was delayed. It was great to spend time with them.

Anyways, how is everyone? I'm good, life in MI, as an GF Intern, and as a New Yorker is great.

I still love U2. They've been around for so long, and their music is so good, that they deserve respect.

Have you ever had a friend when you were little? The kind of friend you did EVERYTHING with? I had one, his name was Patrick, and our backyards were back to back and separated by a fence. The fence as a gate, and we used to play together all the time. Either at his place, in his massive backyard with all the trees and hammock, or at my place, on my play set, and club house. We used to make secret elixirs out of water, dirt, and wild berries. We used to drink hot chocolate in my club house. We used to trade toys through the hole in the dirt at the bottom of the fence on days we couldn't play. We were the best of friends.

Then I moved away.

I was nine, when we moved an hour and a half away. It sucked. We lost touch. Until a few weeks ago. My mother was talking to a friend, who knows Pat, so he gave my mom the website of his business, and she gave it to me. I e-mail him, and this morning I check my e-mails and he replied. I'm so happy; I'll be able to talk to my old friend once again.

Old friendships never die.

What is the purpose of Xanga? Is it to stay in contact with your friends, to vent your frustrations, or just to blab about useless crap? For me, Xanga is a combo of all three. It helps me stay in touch with people, I sometimes use it to just write down my feelings, and I also use it to write crap, like this post. What is the primary reason you use Xanga?
